There are lots of holidays and celebrations going on in San Antonio during vacation time. Of course Sea World and Fiesta Texas will be open all summer, but we want you to pay particular attention to the Folk Life Festival taking place on July 11, 12, and13. It is a celebration of all the different ethnic groups who settled Texas and there will be food booths, craft booths and ethnic music and dance groups performing all three days. The festival takes place on the grounds of the Institute of Texan Cultures which is walking distance from the Brackenridge House and also on the trolley route. We think it is the best family event of the summer. Give us a call at 800-221-1412. We still have vacancies for that weekend.
