A HOUSE CALLED BRACKENRIDGE
We took a trip to Texas To a town called San Antone We found a bed and breakfast For a week we called our home
The owners, Sue and Bennie Our treatment was as kings They told us of their history And many other things
They acted as our tour guides Recommended where to eat We followed their advice And the food was hard to beat
Our room was cool and pleasant When the temp. broke 99 We enjoyed the antique comforts We relaxed there for a time
A place that we were drawn to Was a pool behind the house Walls of rock and waterfalls A paradise, no doubt
The breakfasts were amazing The food, it was the best With Sue out in the kitchen While Bennie served the guests
We saw the sights of San Antone Enjoyed the friendly feeling This bed and breakfast life of ease Is certainly appealing
That Texas hospitality It just soothes the ragged edge We had a TRUE vacation In the house called Brackenridge
