"Over the years I have stayed at some of the best ranking B&Bs in England and Scotland. Never did I think that I would find one that beat them all in the US. But I have. I stayed with Lily and Roland when visiting San Antonio for a conference. I had a better stay than any of the others joining me at the conference. Better breakfast, nicer company and a beautiful room with lots of space and character and even my own patio. Nice and quiet area just a few minutes by cab or street car to the center of town. Hot tub to use when ever I found time and the best margaritas north of the border just around the corner. And my stay even cost less than the sterile noisy hotels the others stayed at : ) Private parking area without additional charges to top it of."

"We had a great stay at the B&B and an amazing breakfast where we had the opportunity to meet and chat with the other guests too. The hosts, Lily and Roland are lovely and ensure that you have a pleasant stay. The B&B is close to the Riverwalk and therefore close to the center as well. Great restaurants are also around the corner." --Buenos Aires Argentina.

"My husband and I traveled and have never stay at a Bed and Breakfast place before and we thought we should try something different this time for our 20th wedding anniversary. We love it. Our room was so comfortable and clean. Lily and Roland were great host. Excellent breakfasts. Not far from the downtown, The Alamo, and The River Walk. Reasonable price (cheaper than most of the hotels in town). If and when we go back to San Antonio, we will stay at Brackenridge House Bed & Breakfast again."

"We stayed at the Breckenridge with some dear friends from Thursday through Monday and we had an excellent time. The rooms were just wonderful and the breakfast with the other guests was a special treat. We were able to have breakfast and visit with guests from Texas, Indiana, Florida, Tennessee and Europe. The breakfast menu was such that we eagerly awaited each mornings fare to see if it could possibly top the past morning. All were great, the service and presentation was impeccable, one of the best that we have ever stayed in."

"My wife and I decided to stay here for our anniversary instead of a regular hotel. This was the best decision we could have made. Nestled in the King William district we were within walking distance to great restaurants and downtown. But when we decided to just relax and enjoy the jacuzzi, it was perfect. Lily and Roland were great host. The breakfast they served was beyond amazing and the people we shared it with were great. What diversity! A couple from England, a professor from Sweden, a couple from Maine, and another from San Antonio. We all enjoyed the food and the company. If you need a getaway, a true escape, this is the place. I know we plan on going back!"
