The Brackenridge house is located two blocks from the River Walk and a short stroll to the Alamo and the Convention Center, in a charming historic and peaceful tree lined residential street. Stay and experience Texas hospitality at its best.

There are five rooms available for reservation including three suites with kitchenette and sitting area. Each room has its own private entrance and bath, either with an antique claw foot tub or tiled walk-in shower. Every room is decorated with antique regal Victorian furniture, comfortable beds and the modern conveniences and amenities of a first class hotel.

Every morning you will enjoy a delicious three course gourmet breakfast.

Bluebird Suite

Feel at home in this beautiful suite and delight yourself in the calming blue and tan setting, tastefully decorated with classic art work and furnished with regal Victorian furniture. The beautiful queen size bed is Victorian Eastlake of carved walnut. The Bluebird suite offers a private ensuite bathroom with a large tiled walk-in shower. It includes a separate sitting area with a kitchenette and a twin sleeper sofa, perfect for an extra guest. The suite comes with all our amenities which include a 32” Flat-screen HDTV and a mini-fridge with complimentary water, soft drinks, wine and Texas beer. This first floor suite is conveniently located in the front of the house and opens onto the front porch appointed with wicker swing and rocking chairs. This is the perfect place to have a drink or read your favorite book while enjoying our charming and historic King William district. Rate starts at $149 plus tax per night. Cardinal Room

Hummingbird Room

The Hummingbird room is on the first floor and is furnished with a king size, iron bed with a comfortable memory-foam mattress. There is also a small secretary, classic antiques, and stunning, refinished original longleaf pine floors. The ensuite bathroom has a 1900’s oversized clawfoot tub where you can soak your stress away or take a shower. Entry is through the rear garden with easy access to the hot tub, perfect for a romantic get-away or vacation retreat. The Wren’s Nest is a first floor suite, and access to this room is through the front entrance. It is perfectly located to step outside and enjoy a morning coffee or a relaxing afternoon on the veranda. Guests often see a brightly decorated horse drawn carriage passing by. Mockingbird Room

It is gracefully decorated in serene soft ecru and white, and features beautiful lace curtains that cascade down the windows to the floor. It is furnished with a Victorian loveseat and chairs. The ensuite bathroom features an oversized clawfoot tub/shower combination. It has a separate sitting area with a kitchenette. This large room is located on the second floor. It opens out to the large rear porch overlooking the garden hot tub. There is convenient access through the rear garden. The Mockingbird is one of our most popular rooms for couples celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary or looking for a romantic escape.
